I believe in the power of storytelling and visual arts to influence people in becoming the best versions of themselves. I’ve always been interested in the different ways in which people find meaning in their lives. When I was a child, I could look at an image and feel as if I could walk into it. It’s a beautiful feeling to be invited into another person’s private world, to witness their history and the inner working of what makes them who they are. My work thrives on this intimate connection.

When I first received my camera, I turned to the art of storytelling through photographs. I believe in the power of images to leave their mark upon the world. To stop history from repeating itself. I find a lot of inspiration when I broaden my horizons, especially through travelling. It’s in these moments of connection with the natural world and communities that I like documenting stories; the little moments of existence.

My practice merges cinematic photography, portraiture, landscapes and photojournalism. I have a weakness for candid shots, simple subjects existing in their sacredness. I love the editing process since I edit in a way that transports me back to the place… emphasizing on the dreamlike moments of magic that exist in the mundane. I’m always filled with a lot of enchantment when they’re done.
